We haven't been doing anything, eh? Like Ollie said, what Order are you part of?
In case you haven't noticed, we are doing everything that we can. Let me remind you of what extra things we've been doing.
Remus; He's just recently been mauled to death and brought back to life. Perhaps some of you have forgotten this detail? He's still in pain, and the fact that people are acting like right out gits and practically giving everyone who's worked so hard for this Order a slap in the face, Remy has every right to get pissy with you people. He's working as a teacher during training meetings. But oh, he's been doing nothing?
Kingsley; He's working double duty for both Ministers. In other words, he's working his bloody ass off. He's ensuring their safety and doing about a million other things at the same time. He's also teacing you ungrateful gits. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Charlie; He's got a job in Romania where to be quite frank, he runs, works, screams, fights his head off with animals that are a thousand times the size of you and blow deadly fire. But at the end of the day he takes the time to come teach you twits a trick or eight. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Arthur; He's Head of a Department, and now that I'm over the Aurors I can really appreciate just how hard this all is, even if I'm not at his level. He's at work all day, goes home to take care of his wife, and then goes to these meetings to train the lot of you. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Mad-Eye; To be quite honest, I don't think half of you deserve his attention at all. He may not be employed by the Ministry, but I'll have you know that he does more than 90% of my Aurors. And after a long day of hunting down the people that are hurting our numbers, he comes to meetings to help train you lot. Maybe it's just me, but if I could be trained once more by the most amazing spell-caster I've ever met, I would be a little more humble. And oh yeah, he's doing nothing?
Bill; He works his arse off as well, 99% of the time out of country in some bleeding desert or inside pyramids with freakier things than most of you have ever seen. And after hours and hours of that, he comes home, takes care of his wife and twin babies that are rather needy, and then goes to Order meetings to help train you against the Undead things that are, in case you haven't read the paper lately, back for more fun. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Sturgis; Sturgis, just like me, is over a large group of people, larger than the Aurors in fact. He helps Remus with the Order day and night, in between meetings, missions for work, missions for the Order, and taking time to do something that maybe he needs to do to survive... like eating, and then comes to every meeting to help train who again? Oh yeah, you ungrateful lot. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Viktor; He's got double duty of Quidditch practice. And some of you may say, oh hell, so what? Quidditch isn't important at times like this. But in case you haven't heard, Viktor is the number on player in the world, and I don't know about you, but if it weren't for something exciting other than Order meetings to keep me happy sometimes, I'd be going mental over here. So between a national and semi-national practice every day of the week, and his current mission with Luna to find the last bit of Horcrux that we need to win this war, the fact that he takes the time to come to all of the Order meetings and train you people with knowledge that most of you didn't know existed besides Mad-Eye, Snape, and Regulus, is pretty impressive to me. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Severus; Maybe you just don't pay attention to other peoples' journal entries. But Harry has said before that Severus is working with him on the Occlumency deal. Along with that he provides us with any potion that we could ever dream of needing, and he half of the reason that we still have Remus with us today. Without him, we would be lacking one more, and for all we know, Harry could be dead already. He's also teaching at these meetings and showing you just what it's going to be like to face a Death Eater. But oh, he's doing nothing?
Regulus; He's been with us for a matter of months and he's given everything he has, his time, his patience, his knowledge to this Order. He's proven what his worth is to us, despite his Mark, so what have you all proven to us? That you think we are sitting around doing nothing? He's working his arse off to help you guys. But oh right, he's doing nothing too.
Cliff; Maybe some of you don't know, but he runs a hospital known as St. Mungo's. That's an all day job, which days of the week, he is there all day for! After just joining the Order he's given us everything he's got to help us out, and for those of you that have been to the training meetings, you should know that if you're wounded in battle, you now know of some way to fix it rather quickly. But riiiight, he's been doing nothing.
Harry; He certainly is too humble for his own good some times, and I'm going to stick him in here, too. For those of you that were in that DA thingymajigger, you already know what he's taught you and how much it's helped. In between work, having his head split in half as Voldemort gets pissed at who knows what, and being taunted by the public for not destroying him last time, he takes the time to come and help train you, despite his lack of confidence in what he's doing. But oh yeah, he's doing nothing.
Me; Not trying to float my own boat, because I'm certainly not, but I'm in the middle of trying to reorganize an Auror department to better suit the needs of all of us. After a day filled with meetings and running about to read paperwork in between life threatening missions, I run as fast as I bloody can to get to Order meetings on time and teach you everything that I can to keep you people safe. Oh fine, if you insist! I'm doing nothing.
I'm sorry, but I think it's time we pull our act together and start doing something right? Because obviously we've all been sitting around on our butts watching our mates get hurt like sitting ducks.
Open your eyes.
